RETIREMENT OF DR ALBERT BARCELLOS

The practice is extremely sad to announce the retirement of its founder Dr Albert Barcellos.

Dr Barcellos will retire at the end of August leaving the practice in the capable hands of its existing partners.

As a practice we will continue to follow his ethos of the ‘family practice' which he has worked so hard to achieve.

In the coming weeks we will place a comment book in each surgery and would invite patients to write their thoughts for Dr Barcellos to read on his retirement.

From July Dr Will Peskett will increase his sessions to accommodate the retirement of Dr Barcellos and later on in the year Dr Peskett will join the practice as a partner. Any patients currently registered with Dr Barcellos will now be registered with Dr Peskett, however, it is important to note that if you wish to be registered with another GP at the practice, please let reception know and they will arrange this for you.

We hope you will join us in wishing Dr Barcellos a long and very happy retirement we think he deserves it!!!

STAFF TRAINING - the surgery will be closed on Wednesday, 24 October between 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm.  We will reopen for clinic at 4.45 pm.  If you need to speak to a doctor during this time, dial 111.  In a medical emergency dial 999.  Thank you

Improving Access to General Practice Services
