Results of Blood tests and other types of tests are received daily and reviewed by the Doctor who requested the test. If you have been asked to find out about test results, please telephone or call in to the surgery after 2.30pm
You will be asked to give your full name, address and date of birth and the date on which the test was carried out. This is to protect patient confidentiality. Please note that test results can only be given to the individual concerned. Please allow five working days before making enquiries. Some tests may take longer and the Doctor will advise you if this is the case.
Should the results of any test indicate that action needs to be taken, then the surgery will contact you. We will not usually contact you if the results are normal. A follow-up appointment will be arranged for you if necessary. Please ensure the surgery holds a current phone number for you (including mobile phone number, if possible), to enable this.
For enquiries about test results please contact the surgery yourself after 2.30pm. You can use eConsult our online system or call us.
If you have been asked to provide a sample by the doctor, please ensure this is returned to the surgery before 1.30 pm each day
